Colander Quilt

I showed you last week that I had a little colander quilt basted and ready to quilt in case the CLTV guys wanted to film me free-motion quilting. They took so much footage of me quilting that I actually got most of it done!

I asked the producer when the show would air and he said it might be the weekend of the quilt show (this weekend) or, more likely, it would be the following weekend, because he wanted to send a cameraman to the show to get some footage.
As he was leaving, he called out over his shoulder, "I'll let your people know the air date and time of the show."
My people.
Apparently, I have people. Who knew?!
I haven't heard anything yet so I assume it will be next weekend, but I am taping it this weekend just in case. It's on CLTV (channel 53 where I live), and the show is called Your Money. It's on Saturday and Sunday at 10am and 8pm (same show running 4 separate times.) I'll keep you updated.

Wow, that is truly quilting under pressure. I would be so nervous if someone was filming me. It looks fabulous.

The quilt looks beautiful. I guess you have truly hit the big time if you have "people"!

Great job quilting with the cameras running - I would have quilted unevenly. I hope you get to go to the show and have fun.

My people love your people's quilting! My people just wish we could sign our name with thread as wonderfully as yours do. (okay, I'll quit now because I'm starting to sound like Jabba from Star Wars.)

Sorry I missed you too. We are planning a May BD celebration in Chicago, talk to Dave and see if you can get a weekend off, near the end of the month.
See you then.

The colander quilt is just gorgeous. I'm going to TIVO the show in case I miss the actual air time. I hope your machine-quilting time doesn't wind up on the cutting room floor, because I would really like to see how you did that!

Saw your quilts at the show and they are very impressive! So glad I got to see them in real life. I met Frieda while she was holding down the fort at the Artfabrik booth. What a wonderful show it was this year! I was sorry I didnt get to meet you too.

I love that quilt. My Bernina has probably forgotten how to quilt it's been so long. Thanks for inspiration.

I've been buying your sock yarn and finally got on over here to see your blog. I have a quilter inside of me trying to get out ... but knitting has taken over my life instead right now. Oh your colander quilt is so beautiful. I would have trouble with someone looking over my shoulder never mine filming me. Whoa. You are one talented lady. I'm sorry I only have basic cable so I know I won't get that show ... I'd love to see it if I could. Hope you find a clip on the Web. I'm bookmarking your spot so I can be back. Happy stitiching.
